Shipping/Traffic Coordinator

Ansett Aircraft Spares & Services (AASS) is seeking a Shipping/Traffic Coordinator to assist in the shipping and receiving operations. This opportunity is a full-time position.

The Coordinator will be administrative support for the shipping and receiving departments, will be responsible for updating files and archiving paperwork, and will assist as backup to key employees. Other duties in the warehouse will be assigned as required.

Experience & Educational requirements:

•  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence (email, letter, etc.); ability to calculate figures and amounts such as weights and proportions. A knowledge of basic algebra is encouraged.
•  Some computer skills required.
•  1 to 2 years of general warehouse experience is desirable, especially in the shipping or receiving area. Candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn will be considered.
•  High School Diploma or equivalent.
•  Experience or knowledge of the aircraft parts industry is a plus.
