Procurement Specialist – Commercial Aircraft for Part-Out

A management position in support of the Company’s global Sales and Distribution Network.

The successful applicant will be experienced in locating, evaluating and purchasing quality commercial aircraft for their part-out. Hands on, direct skills in researching engineering records and direct experience in cost and market value of engines and key components and in cost and management of aircraft disassembly is essential (primarily Airbus & Boeing).  

Skills shall include proficiency in (i) costing and preparing acquisition briefs for specific aircraft for discussion with executive management, (ii) oral and written communication with management personnel of airlines and other aircraft owners, (iii) MS Excel, and (iv) interaction with senior sales and management personnel.

Education and Experience:

• BS fitting to the position; (experienced person without such degree qualification who is highly experienced in aircraft part-outs and has sound analytical math and verbal/written communication will be seriously considered.)
• Broad experience in an airline or MRO aircraft repair maintenance environment and/or experienced in aircraft/inventory acquisitions is advantageous.
• Contract and negotiating expertise.
• Organization and interpersonal skills; completing programs within timeframes.
