Credit & Collections Person
Ansett, an established, growth oriented, global commercial aircraft parts trading and distribution organization, seeks an experienced person with administration responsibility for customer credit and collections.
The successful candidate will join our accounting department team and, in coordination with sales and marketing personnel, will be responsible for the broad aspects of trade credit to Ansett's worldwide customer base.
Responsibilities include communication with existing and new customers for information in support of trade credit, collection and proactively developing procedures that enhance the timely receipt of accounts as they become due.
Skills necessary include good oral and written communication for contact with customers via telephone, fax and email, data input, and interacting with Ansett sales and management staff in maintaining fine customer relations and adherence to their credit commitments.
Experience & Educational requirements of the successful candidate:
Possess 3 to 5 years of general accounting experience (A/P, A/R & G/L).
10 key by touch.
Type 40 wpm.
Hands-on experience with MS-Office applications.
Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to accomplish tasks under time pressures.
